Blue Hill’s Leadership at the NASCIO 2022 Event
October 17, 2022
As proud members of NASCIO, John Lalli, Chief Operating Officer and Nicholas Pidick, Executive Director, Sales of Blue Hill Data Services attended NASCIO’s 2022 Annual Conference in Kentucky October 9-12th.
Through educational and networking sessions State CIOs had the opportunity to identify leading practices and innovations to support, enable, and transform the business of state government. A main focus among the CIOs was the chance to improve and share experiences through conversion with NASCIO members, trade associations and strategic partners.
Supporting and communicating management and innovation, and information technology best practices, advances each of our state CIOs as key leaders. Discussions were had to promote and enhance the critical role of information technology in the business and continuity of state government.
During this event NASIO announced State IT Recognition awards such as, Technology Champion Award which advances the belief that IT is a transformational tool that enables positive change for citizens; State Technology Innovator Award honoring individuals who have contributed to a state’s technology through best practices, adoption of new technology, or advancements in service delivery; and the Meritorious Service Award honoring state CIOs for their leadership in state government and their dedicated to the advancement of NASCIO’s mission.
“The opportunity to meet with the state CIO’s, many on a ‘1-to-1’ basis, provided deeper insight to specific state-by-state IT business priorities, enabling we as a ‘selective’ infrastructure service provider, customize compelling solutions for individual priorities. This NASCIO 2022 was extremely well organized and productive with important take-aways for both the state CIO’s and the corporate membership such as Blue Hill.” John Lalli, Chief Operating Officer.
If you have seen one state, you have seen one state, was a clear message delivered by each state CIO. “We cannot be cookie cutter in how we work with states, every state is different, and we should adjust how we work with each state to better meet their individual needs” Nick Pidick, Executive Director, Sales.
